Founded in 2019, Nuovo Advisors is an executive consulting firm that helps lenders and fintechs turn their credit and risk organizations into engines of profitability. Working across the full risk stack — credit risk, data science, risk engineering, and data engineering — Nuovo embeds executive leadership to scale teams, modernize models and data infrastructure, and drive revenue with AI and machine learning.

The firm is led by John Candido, formerly Head of Data Science & Machine Learning at ZestFinance, where he built underwriting models for major auto lenders, top-five U.S. credit card issuers, and banks. He is a Kaggle Competitions Master and has spoken at LendIt Fintech, American Banker's BankAI, and the Marketplace Lending Summit. Nuovo's clients have included PayPal, UPS, Honey, Tala, and Clicklease.
